High-Throughput Screening (HTS)

ChromSmart system supports high-throughput screening separations The analytical chemists at a
"prepped" out and purified for further analysis. To accomplish this, an HPLC method must be
decision tree language within ChromSmart, scientists worked with ILS engineers to develop a
system which automatically performs data-mining on the sample property data to design a priori
HPLC methods. ChromSmart then runs and subsequently analyze those methods. As a result,
ChromSmart is automating a task that is both knowledge and data intensive, enabling scientists
to increase the productivity of their laboratories. This application was presented at a recent
Boston Society for Advanced Therapeutics conference (www.bsat.org).
